Don't get priority bags at Cairo Airport

I just got onto my plane at Terminal 3 in Cairo. While waiting to get in on the hem or whatever, the airport staff brought in 6 large bags tagged as "priority", clearly expensive and wrapped in clear plastic. These bypassed the entire queue and seemingly entered the plane.

How interesting, I thought, looks like these bags get on the plane and fly Business Class while we the people get the pleb treatment.

A few minutes later, the staff started carrying them down the stairs. Carrying in name only. In reality, they dragged them down in a way that probably broke the wheels and scratched the underside, counting every metal stair. They couldn't drag them with less care if they tried.

At the 4th bag, I couldn't hold back the laughter anymore, and started asking people around whether it wouldn't just be better to throw them to the ground off the ramp instead.

"Go in!" was the immediate response from the staff.
