While the rest of my "travel diary" will be published later, at the moment I'm pleased to inform that I'm
A) Visiting father
B) Immensely pissed off
C) Only able to get out of here tomorrow, since the today train is out of room. Place I'll be hanging around in it tomorrow isn't great either, but it's better than staying here 'til the tenth.
In general, the trip wasn't at all bad - that is, until yesterday, when my visit here started. Well, rather, it got ruined an evening prior, when I decided to make sure people are prepared and discovering dear father to be in a less than communicable state. Which he's been in for most of my visit now. And I'm pretty sure that I'm furious. I can accept, forgive and understand a lot, but there's a line that's been crossed and dozens of warnings and promises that were ignored and apparently forgotten. He's made his choice, I've made mine. And even though leaving just like that is pretty cruel to both him and his-side grandmother, I don't think I have much choice. Outcomes to both staying and leaving will be catastrophic, but if he can't change himself, and if his mother is shouting at him and all that kind of joyful things go on around me, I don't think there's much point of staying. Ah well. There's some things to be done before I leave, like isolating the windows which let in lots of cold air and figure out a convenient lie to tell to the other grandparents not to have them shocked or anything.
Yay?

What I said in my earlier messages still stand. Miss you, come home soon. *hugs*
ReplyDeleteI second what Inny said. *hugs too*
ReplyDeleteThanks.
ReplyDeleteTo be honest, I've never seen anything like this before, and I don't think I ever want to see anything like this again.
Also, the computer I'm using today has the worst keyboard ever - keys are half-stuck, apparently the kiddies playing C-S and NWN's PVP modules here think that key smashing makes them play better. An amusing sight.
Anyway, last night, with situation still unchanged, I decided to take Thea's take on things and be sarcastic. Managed to get a few laughs for myself and grandmother, too bad he didn't get them, though.
Now, though, my decision to return to the other relatives seems to be having a price to it. Apparently the ticket for the final departure train was from here to Kiev, and there's no tickets whatsoever on the only train to Kiev on the 9th. So... It's basically hoping that someone gives up their tickets or trying to get outta here somehow anyway.
On an unrelated note, Witcher seems to be completely sold out here, anywhere I go, I get "we sold them all" reply. Amusing.
Gawd my mind is jumbled.
*sets summoning portal ready*
ReplyDelete*clicks on the portal*
ReplyDelete*clicks too, twice for good measure*
ReplyDelete*Is unsure what to do*
ReplyDelete*Clicks once on the portal and for a good measure, kicks Angthoron through.
*Waves at Ang's flying behind.*
You can never be too sure. *grin*
Erm... We were sort of trying to get him back, not send him there. :P
ReplyDeleteI thought you opened portal at his place... You know, where he can reach it? o_O
ReplyDeleteBut true, I somehow forgot how these things work. That's because I specialised in wormholes. :P
I'm sure everyone here wants Ang back, even if he comes riding a stallion as one of Hunnish barbarian raiders with sharp sticks and new liberty ideas.
Kinda like on gay pride parades? :P
ReplyDeleteSure, if you say so! *grin* Welcome back to the real world.
